Utthaan is a movie produced by the famous singer Kumar Sanu, who has also directed the music for the film. Kumar Sanu has sung some of the best songs of the 1990s, one of my personal favorite by Kumar Sanu is Ek Ladki Ko Dekha from 1942 A Love Story. According to IMDB, he has been a playback singer in 295 movies since 1984. WOW!!
The cast of Utthaan includes Priyanshu Chatterji and Neha Dhupia in the lead roles, and it is directed by Ujjwal Chatterjee. The music of Utthaan is very similar to that of the 90s movies, but not to the best of that era. I personally am not a fan of such music albums. I recommend you do try the songs at least once and see how you like 'em.
