One Two Three is a comedy thriller of three men from various parts of India, each having his own characterization and identity. It basically revolves around these very three men who share a common name “LAXMI NARAYAN” due to which various confusions start and the basic plot of the film is established. The story starts with the introduction of the three main characters Laxmi Narayan 1, 2 and 3. wherein LAXMI NARAYAN 1 being played by TUSHAR KAPOOR is a young an aspiring emotional shooter from underworld whose only aim is to fulfill his mother’s dreams of becoming the most popular don. LAXMI NARAYAN 2 being played by SUNIEL SHETTY is an automobile salesman from Mumbai whose only aim in life is to keep his boss happy and in course of which he becomes a confused and annoying character.

He has two rules in his life Rule # 1:- Boss is always right. Rule # 2:- If boss is wrong, follow the rule # 1. LAXMI NARAYAN 3 being played by PARESH RAWAL is a rich but poor man who is into the business of lingerie but in his language KACHHA AND BRA, which he sells in a mobile car on the streets of Chandni Chowk in Delhi. The story proceeds with the three of them reaching a single destination called Pondy for their individual works. While Laxmi Narayan 1 reaches Pondy on a mission to shoot somebody, Laxmi Narayan 2 is there on business trip to buy a vintage car from a beautiful and sexy girl called laila played by Sameera Reddy and laxmi narayan 3 reaches Pondy to select the designs for his new lingerie for Valentine collection from sweet and simple girl Jiya played by Esha Deol. It is now that the entire chaos and confusion starts with an exchange of three different envelopes for their job purposes due to all of them having the common name Laxmi Narayan. Due to this exchange all the three dudes reaches exchanged locations and meet exchanged people. The story now is full of fun, comedy and laughter leading to a climax most unexpected.

Black and White is a film by Subhash Ghai starring Anil Kapoor, Anurag Sinha, Shefali Shah and Aditi Sharma. This album's got plenty for all the Sukhwinder fans out there. The songs are pretty decent, which I found pretty surprising because most films in this genre are more story driven and less focussed on the music department. I'm sure you will love the songs too. Btw, they are composed by Sukhwinder Singh himself.

Horn Ok Please (2008)

There are some projects from which one doesn't have any hope whatsoever. Reason is simple. The initial promos of the film do not give an impression of a quality product. Nana Patekar in the lead (in spite of the film being a comedy) doesn't make one look forward to a melodious outing. Moreover, the film's title itself doesn't give one much hopes. Horn Ok Pleassss is one such project. To make matters worse, composer Lalit Pandit hasn't given one decent soundtrack ever since his split with Jatin, let alone recreate the magic of the 90's when the duo gave innumerous musical successes. No wonder, expectations are at an all time low.

Now if only roping in of Neeraj Shreedhar alone could have made a song successful! With composer Pritam, Neeraj may have given a dozen odd hits by now but he would have to give the title song 'Pom Pom Pom' a pass here. This Sajid and Farhad written number has a Western base to it but the theme feel (Nana Patekar is a truck driver in the film) is hardly enticing enough to give the song a second hearing. Even though the song is complimented by a music video with Nana trying to be all hip and cool, 'Pom Pom Pom' is such a downer that one is hardly interested in it's 'remix version' as well.

Bhram (2008)

Bhram is a film by Pavan S. Kaul and stars Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Simone Singh and Sheetal Menon. The movie's had mostly below average reviews. I don't know much about it though.

Anyway, music of Bhram is directed by Pritam and Siddharth Suhas. Listening to these songs literally gave me a headache. I don't know if the songs were completely at fault, as I had just returned from a very busy day when I decided to see how they were. The bottom line is that I didn't enjoy them the smallest bit. I've heard that sales wise Bhram's music did really great, which really proves that it wasn't the songs. I was me. I hope you are in a much better state when you are listening to them so you would know how they ACTUALLY are.

Jodhaa Akbar (2008)

It's finally here everyone. Music of Jodhaa Akbar is released and it is absolutely superb. A.R. Rehman definitely has picked his top tunes for this movie. The best songs have to be Jashn-E-Bahaara and Azeem-O-Shaan Shahenshah which have been the backbone of all the promo clips of the film.

Jodhaa Akbar is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and stars Hrithik Roshan as the Mughal Emperor Akbar and Aishwarya Rai as Jodhabai, the Rajput princess. It's tells the story of how Akbar married Jodhaa for political reasons but later fell in love with her. I can't wait to watch this film. It's set to release on 25 15 February. Enjoy the music tell then :D

Apologies for being inactive for so long. A lot has been happening lately, but I'm back. Here is Race, a film by Abbas-Mustan which stars Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Sameera Reddy and Katrina Kaif in major roles.

Music of Race is composed by Pritam. I don't know how good or bad it is. Just trying to catch up. I have heard a few praises though, so I hope you like it.

Jannat (2008)

Jannat is a Bhatt production and its story surrounds sports betting and match fixing in cricket. Emraan Hashmi plays the role of a bookie who gets into this profession to get rich fast. It is Kunal Deshmukh's first film as a director. Apparently Kunal and Emraan have been studying real life bookie's to prepare for the role. Other actors in major roles includes 2005 Miss World Sonal Chauhan, Samir Kocchar and Javed Shaikh. Initially they wanted Esha Deol and then Kangna Renaut to do the lead female role but they couldn't due to tight schedule.

Music of Jannat is composed by Pritam. To be honest I haven't had a chance to listen to songs yet, so I don't really know how it is. Considering Pritam made pretty good music for the last three times he worked with the Bhatts (Gangster, Woh Lamhe and Awarapan), I'm hoping that this time around he does a good job again.

Sirf - Life looks greener on the other side (2008)

Sirf - Life looks greener on the other side (whew, talk about long movie names :D) is a film about four couples who each have something and missing another, such as money, love, trust, time, etc. It's about how they come together and hopefully solve their problem. Sirf is the return of Manisha Koirala who is paired with Kay Kay Menon. Other actors/actresses in major roles are Ranvir Shorey, Sonali Kulkarni, Parveen Dabaas, Rituparna Sengupta, Ankur Khanna, Nauheed Cyrusi. The film is directed by Rajaatsh Nayar and its music is by Sohail Sen and Shibani Kashyap. According to my taste, there's only one song in this album that's worth listening to, and that is Zindagi Ki Kahani. But that's just me.

Lovesongs - Yesterday,Today & Tomorrow (2008)

Lovesongs is an English language film directed by Jayabrato Chatterjee. Jaya Bachchan plays the role of a widow who runs a NGO for the disabled. Her grandson who is a law student in Bangalore comes to Kolkata for vacation. His interest and questioning about her past brings back her memories of the past, her love life and all the emotions associated with them. Other casts of the film along with Jaya Bachchan are Om Puri, Mallika Sarabai, Rajit Kapoor and Neil Bhoopalam. The songs, which are composed by Usha Uthup, are also mostly in English. They are pretty slow. You can feel how sad and emotion-filled the film is going to be just by listening to these songs.

Tashan (2008)

Tashan is a film by writer-director Vijay Krishna Acharya and stars Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. Despite all the hype, Tashan has received pretty bad reviews. Apparently there is no content in it. Honestly, after I heard the emphasis on "ishtyle" in their promotional stuff, I wasn't expecting much myself either. Seems like Yash Raj Films are committed to continue producing crappy films.

Lucky for us though, music of Tashan is composed by Vishal and Shekhar who are focussed on quality. There are a few of good songs, and there are a couple of songs for Sukhwinder fans. I hope you like the songs.

Sarkar Raj is the second installment of Ram Gopal Verma's Sarkar trilogy. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan and Tanisha Mukherjee in major roles. I've been looking forward to this film, and I hope to see it soon. I want to see what RGV has done this time around after the disastrous remake of Sholay.

Love Story 2050 (2008)

Harry Baweja's latest film is Love Story 2050 and, as the name suggests, is a sci-fi and set in the future, in 2050 to be more specific. The protagonists, Karan (Harman Baweja) and Sana (Priyanka Chopra) travel to the future using a time machine built by Dr. Yatinder Khanna (Boman Irani). It's full of special effects. Even though it has been criticized for being amateurish and waste of the huge Rs. 500 million, I give credit to Harry for trying something different. Bollywood seriously needs to make something besides the lame and mindless comedies. Not that they aren't producing any good films, however there's been only a few every year. So kudos to Harry for trying something different.

Singh Is Kinng (2008)

Singh Is King is a comedy movie by Anees Bazmee starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Neha Dhupia, Javed Jaffery, Ranvir Shorey, Om Puri, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sonu Sood and Kiron Kher. Akshay Kumar plays Happy Singh whose village is fed up of him for causing disastrous situations. In an attempt to get rid of him for a while, they send him to Australia to bring back Lakhan Singh aka Lucky (Sonu Sood) who is big figure in the underworld. The Akshay-Katrina pair has worked pretty well in the past, and this one seems a pretty good movie too.

Music of Sing Is King is composed by Pritam. I was pretty surprised when I heard Akshay singing the title song together with Snoop Dogg, who is a popular American rapper. Something like this hasn't happened before. If you are a Daler Mehndi fan, there a song for you too.

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008)

Aamir Khan launches his nephew Imraan Khan in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, the third film produced under Aamir Khan Productions. It's directed by Abbas Tyrewala and also stars Genelia D'Souza, Naseeruddin Shah and Manjari Phadnis. Aamir has even roped in A.R. Rehman to compose the music for JTYJN to boost Imraan's debut film. However it seems like the film lacks in story, which is the most vital part of a film. How many times have we heard that a bad or so-so screenplay will never make a great fil. Looks like Aamir ignored that crucial principle specially when it is also Abbas Tyrewala's debut as a director. What is left is to see how Chhota Khan performs. Hope he proves to be a promising actor.

Mehbooba (2008)

Mehbooba is the latest film by director/producer Afzal Khan starring Ajay Devgan, Manisha Koirala and Sanjay Dutt about the love triangle between the main characters. I've heard it is very 90s-like in terms of story and setting. Now I know the music is also in that category which doesn't sit quite well with me. Ismail Darbar has composed some great music in the past (e.g Devdas) but this time around he hasn't done quite as good. But hey, if you are into this kind of music, you will love it.

Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008)

Bachna Ae Haseeno is directed by Siddhart Anand and stars the famous new couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone along with Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba. Bachna Ae Haseeno tells the story of Raj (Ranbir Kapoor) and his relationships with three different women and what he learns from them and from life. I think the film was released on 15th August, so if you've already seen it, do let us know how you liked it by leaving a comment. I'm curious how both Ranbir and Deepika have performed in their second films.

Music of BAH is composed by Vishaal Dadlani. He's done an alright job. I might like the songs more on a second hearing, but right now I think they are just average songs, except the title song which is not an original song. It's a remix of the original Kishore Kumar song. I like the original better.
