Finally, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is back. His upcoming Romantic film Guzaarish stars the hit pair of Jodha-Akbar, Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan. It would be interesting to see how this pair performs this time as the last few releases of Hrithik, Aishwarya andBhansali himself have been very poor. The music of the film has been composed bySanjay Leela Bhansali himself. The film would hit the theaters on November 19, 2010. 

The official music release was supposed to be on 15 October but they have already beenleaked on Net.

Story:

A dispatch clerk (Bhagwan) dreams of becoming a stage star. His success as singer and dancer is aided by the reigning star Asha (Geeta Bali) with whom he falls in love. The love story is intercut with tragedy in his home, the death of his mother (Pratima Devi), estrangement from his father (Badri Prasad) and the villainy of his brother-in-law (Nihal).

The film was produced and directed by Bhagwan - the man whose dancing style was borrowed amd made famous by Amitabh Bachchan. 'Bholi Surat Dil Ke Khote', 'Shola Jo Bhadke' and 'Shaam Dhale Khidki Tale' are the film's hit songs, sung by the music director C Ramachandra and Lata Mangeshkar.

Aa Ab Laut Chalen 1999-[mp3]

Plot:

Rohan Khanna (Akshaye Khanna), an unemployed Indian, decides to go abroad to make money. He lands up in New York but as he doesn't have a stable job, he stays with Indian cab drivers who treat him as family. He then meets Pooja (Aishwarya Rai) who has left her brother's house because he wants to forcibly marry her off to his boss, who is a divorcee. Pooja loves Rohan but he is definite that he wants to stay in America at any cost. When he meets Loveleen (Suman Ranganathan), a rich spoilt kid with money to throw, he decides to marry her......

Mohabbatein was one of the biggest films of 2000 (and probably is still). I guess it's the first movie that starred Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan together. Other casts includes Aishwarya and whole bunch of then-newcomers; Shamita Shetty, Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, Preeti Jhangiani, Jimmy Shergill and Kim Sharma. Mohabbatein is produced by Yash Chopra and directed by his son Aditya, who recently announced that Shahrukh Khan will not appear in any of their future movies. How sad. Music is by Jatin Lalit.

Since I'm a big SRK fan, I've listened to these songs A LOT. So much that they don't interest me anymore. Just like Main Hoon Na. You be the judge for yourselves.

Shabd (2004)

This is one movie starring Sanjay Dutt that I didnt like much. The story was quite lame, specially for Sanjay's role, besides I think Sanjay Dutt could have acted a lot better than this. Aishwarya and Zayed Khan have done what they usually do, nothing extra ordinary. However, Shabd's music is nothing like the movie itself. The songs are pretty good. They are composed by Vishal & Shekhar. There are songs for the both ends of the emotional spectrum: sad and happy. Well, enough said. Just download and check 'em out for yourself.

Umrao Jaan (2006)

Umrao Jaan is claimed to be based on a 1904 novel by Mirza Hadi Ruswa titled Umrao Jaan Ada (according to Bollywood Trivia), but it was generally thought to be a remake of the 1989 film with the same title starring Rekha. The new Umrao Jaan stars Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Suniel Shetty, Puru Rajkumar and Divya Dutta. It is directed by J.P. Dutta.

The music of Umrao Jaan is by Anu Malik. Even though I'm not very fond of this genre of music (don't really know what it is called), I think Mr. Malik has done a pretty good job here. However, the music of the Rekha starrer Umrao Jaan which I for some reason have watched, is much better. I loved the film and the music alike. Rekha was absolutely wonerful. I'm really anxious to see how successfully Aish is going to play the role that was superbly done by Rekha.

Hindi Song | Dhoom 2 (2006)

Here it is boys and girls, Dhoom 2 is up! One of the most anticipated movies of the year is this film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Hritik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Rimi Sen, Bipasha Basu and Uday Chopra. It is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi.

The music director is, as I've mentioned before, Pritam. I haven't listened to 'em yet, as I was hurrying to post it here first. Tell what you guys think about it. Cheers.

PS. It is rumored that they will make Dhoom 3 too, and the bad guy's role will be played by Shahrukh Khan. I hope this isn't just a rumor.

Jodhaa Akbar (2008)

It's finally here everyone. Music of Jodhaa Akbar is released and it is absolutely superb. A.R. Rehman definitely has picked his top tunes for this movie. The best songs have to be Jashn-E-Bahaara and Azeem-O-Shaan Shahenshah which have been the backbone of all the promo clips of the film.

Jodhaa Akbar is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and stars Hrithik Roshan as the Mughal Emperor Akbar and Aishwarya Rai as Jodhabai, the Rajput princess. It's tells the story of how Akbar married Jodhaa for political reasons but later fell in love with her. I can't wait to watch this film. It's set to release on 25 15 February. Enjoy the music tell then :D

Sarkar Raj (2008)

Sarkar Raj is the second installment of Ram Gopal Verma's Sarkar trilogy. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan and Tanisha Mukherjee in major roles. I've been looking forward to this film, and I hope to see it soon. I want to see what RGV has done this time around after the disastrous remake of Sholay.
